BCS-B-SP04G02G is a 6-port Gigabit PoE switch from the BCS Basic series, specifically designed for IP surveillance systems. The device features 4 PoE ports for powering security cameras and 2 uplink ports for connecting to an NVR or router. The switch includes smart functions (AI) optimized for video transmission and power management, allowing video packet prioritization and automatic restart of frozen devices (Watchdog).

Smart Functions (Working Modes)

AI VLAN: Ports 1, 2, 3, and 4 are isolated from each other to reduce interference and increase security, but they can communicate with the uplink ports (5 and 6).

AI EXTEND: Allows data and power transmission over long distances, up to 250 meters, using Cat5e or Cat6 UTP cables.

AI QOS (Quality of Service): Prioritizes video data packets to ensure smooth and uninterrupted video transmission from security cameras.

AI PoE (Watchdog): Continuously monitors the status of powered devices. If a frozen or non-responding camera is detected, it automatically cuts off and restores power on that specific port to reboot the device.
