The charging station is a key component of the classroom set, designed to charge and store multiple Xploris units simultaneously. It ensures the correct positioning of the devices through dedicated rectangular cavities that guide the units to make contact with the charging pins. The station allows charging the units without the need for individual USB cables for each device

Technical Specifications

Capacity: The station can charge up to 6 Xploris units at the same time.

Power Supply: Connects to the mains via a C7 power cable (available with EU or US plug types).

Charging Mechanism: Charging is achieved through contact between two pins in each chamber of the station and the metal contacts on the back of the Xploris device.

Charging Time: A full charge of the Xploris rechargeable battery takes between 2 and 3 hours, depending on current usage and screen brightness.

Charging Status Indicators (on the Xploris screen):

    Charging in progress: Displays a filling battery icon.

    Fully charged: Displays a solid green battery icon.

Positioning: Devices must be placed with a slight rotation: those on the left rotated to the left, and those on the right rotated to the right, for optimal contact.

Safety: The manual specifies not to use force when inserting the units into the charging slots.
