Rotrics DexArm is a multifunctional desktop robotic arm with 4 axes and a modular design, specially developed for STEAM educational projects, makers, and designers. The Maker Kit variant includes the main modules for drawing/writing, laser engraving, and 3D printing.
Rotrics DexArm utilizes a patented modular system that allows changing the working heads (end-effectors) with a single click, without screws or complicated cables. Thanks to high-precision reducers, the arm reduces backlash between gears, offering an excellent repeatability of 0.05 mm. It can be programmed both through a visual block-based interface (Scratch) and through advanced languages (C/C++, Python, Java, JavaScript) or ROS.
