Makeblock mBot Ranger is a 3-in-1 educational robotics kit designed for students and young makers (recommended for ages 10+). The kit allows users to build three different robot variations using the exact same mechanical parts, offering an excellent gateway into mechanical engineering and STEM programming:
Off-Road Land Raider: A treaded robot tank capable of climbing and running over challenging terrains like grass, sand, gravel, and mud.
Dashing Raptor: A fast and agile three-wheeled racing car ideal for speed and tight cornering.
Self-Balance Nervous Bird: A smart two-wheeled robot that uses a gyroscope to balance itself autonomously while standing still or moving.
The robot is controlled and programmed via the mBlock app (PC, tablets, and smartphones). It supports a smooth learning curve, moving students from block-based visual programming (Scratch) to advanced text-based coding in Arduino C. Its heavy-duty, anodized aluminum alloy frame ensures high durability and is compatible with over 500 Makeblock parts and LEGO bricks.
