The Makeblock Smart AI Camera (Vision Module) is an intelligent visual sensor designed to bring Artificial Intelligence and computer vision to educational robotics projects. It is fully compatible with Makeblock platforms (such as mBot2, mBot Ranger, and CyberPi) and can be easily programmed using the mBlock 5 software.

The camera runs Edge AI machine learning algorithms directly on the module without needing a constant internet connection. It can detect and track human faces, colors, objects, visual tags (AprilTags), traffic signs, and lines. Equipped with an onboard color LCD screen, it allows students to see a live view of what the camera is detecting, making debugging and learning intuitive and fun.
