Elephant Robotics myBuddy 280 is a collaborative dual-arm robot specifically designed for educational environments, research, and AI (Artificial Intelligence) development. It combines the functionality of two myCobot 280 robotic arms into a compact humanoid structure, offering extended flexibility for complex manipulation applications and human-robot interaction.

Powered by a Raspberry Pi 4B mainboard, the myBuddy 280 Pi features a total of 13 axes of motion (6 degrees of freedom for each arm, plus a rotation axis at the waist). The robot integrates state-of-the-art visual and programmable interaction elements: a 7-inch touchscreen capable of displaying over 20 dynamic expressions, and two 2-megapixel HD cameras optimized for facial recognition, body tracking, and object or QR code identification.

Thanks to its open-source ecosystem, the platform offers full support for ROS (Robot Operating System), Python, and the myBlockly visual programming environment. The arm end-effectors are compatible with LEGO connectors and include Grove and 3.3V I/O expansion interfaces, allowing for the quick attachment of accessories such as suction pumps, sensors, or various types of grippers.
